Our Founder
Eileen Piper – Business Consulting and Board Development Eileen Piper, founder and president of Marta Associates, has extensive experience leading and building organizations, and has a passion for serving the faith-based community. She holds an MBA from Harvard University, as well as a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. During her career, Eileen has worked in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. She spent several years working in partnership with senior management at McDonald’s Corporation, as a part of their Strategic Development group. Eileen also opened and managed the Denver office of Parson Consulting. In three years she successfully grew that office to more than sixty employees and $6 million in revenue. Now, with Marta Associates, Eileen has placed her considerable business skills and experience at the service of faith-based organizations.

Anna Maria Larsen – Executive Coach and Board Development
Anna Maria Larsen has provided executive support services for the past twenty years. Co-founder of her own executive search firm, Anna Maria has worked with a variety of clients that have included faith-based institutions, not-for-profit organizations, Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and individual senior executives. In addition, Anna Maria is a widely recognized civic leader in Denver. Ms. Larsen currently serves as a member of the National Board of Governors of the American Red Cross. She co-chaired the transition team for Governor Bill Owens, leading a team of 170 business and community leaders in reviewing state government departments and identifying qualified individuals to fill cabinet posts and key governmental positions. Ms. Larsen Chaired the Governor's Commission on Community Service, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Denver Rotary Club, and the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross. Active within the Roman Catholic Church, Anna Maria was appointed to a four-year term as lay advisor to the National Conference of Catholic Bishops, and elected to its Executive Committee. She has served as an advisor to Archbishop Charles Chaput on the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, and was honored as Italian-American Woman of the Year by the Denver Catholic Register. Ms. Larsen holds a Bachelor's degree from Trinity College in Washington, D.C. She was selected to participate in an advanced leadership and management program at Harvard University, and received her certification in executive coaching from Georgetown University.
Holly Morgan – Fund Development and Communications Holly Morgan is passionate about helping faith-based organizations succeed. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Colorado State University, Holly worked in Communications and Public Relations for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations in and around Denver. With these organizations, Holly coordinated and managed special events, developed and published company newsletters, and worked closely with regional, national, and international media. Later in her career, Holly transitioned to fund development, where she successfully developed fundraising strategies and achieved revenue goals for local faith-based organizations by preparing and submitting grant proposals, coordinating and managing special events, and developing communications initiatives to continue to build individual donor relations. Holly has been a grant reviewer for the Colorado Department of Education, and for Washington DC’s Federal Faith-based Initiative program.
Birdie Reznicek - Business Consulting
Birdie Rezniceks breadth of experience includes serving as Director of a Fortune 50 financial services company, management consulting for Booz Allen Hamilton, teaching micro-enterprise fundamentals at the Womens Credit Union of Cape Coast in Ghana, and graduate level study of organizational psychology and theology. Throughout her career, she has felt a strong call to work at the intersection of business and faith. Prior to joining Marta Associates, Ms. Reznicek served as the Enterprise Director of Golden Gate Community, Inc., a faith-based community development non-profit. As a hands-on practitioner in the field of social entrepreneurship, she ran businesses that provided jobs, training and greater self-sufficiency for at-risk young adults. Ms. Reznicek has been in the shoes of those who work directly with clients, boards, consultants, funders and government officials. She knows what it is to manage staff, projects and budgets with a steady eye on the mission, and feels very committed to providing co-laborers in the faith-based non-profit arena with practical, tangible support. Ms. Reznicek holds an MBA from NorthwesternUniversitys Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Heather Ringoen - Financial Management and Accounting Processes
Heather draws from a wide range of job experience and client connections. She started her career in the tax department of Ernst & Young, a large accounting firm, and then moved to the public sector where she successfully promoted herself within the finance department of a public restaurant company. At Parson Consulting, Heather served a diverse base of clients, providing accounting process and systems support. Until recently, Heather worked to help a grassroots non-profit with their accounting and business development needs. She believes this varied experience and the skills that she has acquired along the way have brought her to her passion for helping non-profits achieve their maximum potential. Heather received her accounting degree from EasternMichiganUniversity.
Bill Ross - Business Consulting
Bill Ross is an experienced executive. For more than thirty years, Bill has worked within for-profit and nonprofit environments, developing and refining his skills in organizational leadership and change management. Over the years, Bill has played a variety of roles, including purchasing, sales, and operations. During the 1990s, Bill was Vice President and General Manager of a division of Rocky Mountain Bank Note Company where he held full profit and loss responsibility. Recently, Bill joined Samaritan House, an outreach of Catholic Charities. He played several roles within the shelter before Catholic Charities tapped him to lead a significant start-up program. From August, 2005, until November, 2006, Bill led a team that successfully orchestrated housing rent assistance for more than 950 Hurricane Katrina refugee families that came to Colorado. Over the course of his career, Bill has gained an increasing appreciation for the importance of strong leadership and effective communication. A clearly defined mission can become a rallying point for an entire organization; performance metrics can inspire staff and donors as they quantify achievements in accomplishing the mission. Bill is a graduate of the University of Idaho.
